Mississauga East

Faith Ambassador Banner

Christ is Our Light

St. Alfred is a member of the Mississauga East Family of Schools.  Our banner has many symbols of our Catholic faith.

The three shafts of light shining through the window represent the Blessed Trinity and the image of Christ shining through each one of us.

The stained glass window is made up of 25 pieces in total, representing each of the 25 schools in the Mississauga East Family of Schools.  Joned together they create something beautiful, something whole.

The purple cross respresents Reconciliation. our ability to forgive and to seek forgivemess.

The host represents the Eucharist; we are one body in Communion with Christ.

The flames represent Confirmation; our commitment to our faith.
