2009 Grade 8 Trip - Quebec City
The staff at All Saints School is proposing a trip to Quebec City for our grade 8 students. The students would depart for this exciting excursion on May 26, 2009 and will return on May 29, 2009. Our tour company, Keating Educational Tours, in collaboration with the All Saints staff, have planned an excellent itinerary for the students. Below is a brief description of some of the educational opportunities the students will experience in Quebec City.
The tour of Quebec City explores the charm, culture and history of this diverse city. Students will have the opportunity to discover their own talents through various interactive activities. For example, students will learn about the rich history of Quebec City as they tour Canada's oldest city. Some of the historic sites the students will have the opporutnity to visit will be: the Plains of Abraham, the Upper and Lower Towns of Quebec City and a tour of the Beaupre Coast. While visiting the Beaupre Coast, the students will have the opportunity to visit the Basilique Sainte Anne, see the spectacular Montmorency Falls and the Canyon Ste. Anne. A traditional evening at the Cabane a Sucre makes this a memorable experience for all students.
