The Premier’s Awards for Teaching Excellence recognize outstanding educators and support staff. Awards will be presented in 10 different categories, including teacher of the year, outstanding new teacher, contribution to school leadership, excellence in teaching support, and lifetime achievement.

You can nominate:

• a teacher,

• a guidance counsellor,

• a principal or vice-principal,

• a teacher-librarian,

• a teaching assistant,

• a school secretary,

or other school staff. As long as they work in a

publicly funded school in Ontario, they’re eligible

for an award.
