Liturgical Season of Lent:  begins with Ash Wednesday, February 25, 2009 through to and including the Tridiuum:  Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter.  April 9 to 12, 2009

As Catholics we are called to act of piety during Lent: alms giving, fasting and prayer. During Lent we have marvelous opportunity to look back as individuals and as a community of faith and relfect upon our journey as God's chosen people. Take 40 (referring to days of Lent) to renew relationships. Take 40... a call to renew, restore and recommit.

Virtue Education Monthly Program

Each month we focus on a specific virtue.  The front hallway displays student made Coat of Arms illustrating each virtue.

March Virtue of the Month is Kindness: Through prayer and concentration, we can get better at showing kindness to everyone we meet.

April Virtue of the Month is Love:  God has given us many guidelines and examples how to live our lives.  He sent his Son, Jesus, to make sure that we could see what life could be like.

May Virtue of the Month is Acceptance:  this virtue describes our ability to look at the attitudes and actions of those around us and then just stop and consider without judging them.  This virtue means that we look beyond what we see, and see a person created by God.

June Virtue of the Month is Fairness:  We are made to live together, to share and to help each other. Christianity is all about living together in community, ideally, one big family.
