Bishop Scalabrini School Council Meeting

Mrs. Taccone began the meeting at 7:00pm by welcoming everyone and leading a Liturgy of the Word.
Introductions. People took turns introducing themselves and their connection to Bishop Scalabrini School.
Mrs. Taccone presented to the group a powerpoint presentation highlighting the roles and responsibilities of council members.

Mrs. Taccone called for the election process to begin.

After election was concluded Mrs. Taccone encouraged council to consider a fundraising sub-committee. This committee would be the key in finding various fundraisers for the school and would coordinate the events as they occurred. She reminded council that all member of council play an active part in all fundraising events as this represents one of the key functions of council.
Council inquired as to weather or not staff generated wish lists for council to use for consideration when allocating funds to the school. This is an item under consideration and will be reviewed at the next meeting.
Mrs. Macerola reviewed council’s financial statement. She indicated (as per her handout) that council has approximately $12,000 in the bank. Some of the funds have been allocated (computers ).
