Teacher Personnel


  

The Teacher Personnel Department is responsible for the administration of all recruitment and employment related matters, including salary administration for the employees listed below:

  • Elementary teachers
  • Secondary teachers
  • Department heads
  • Consultants
  • Coordinators
  • Vice Principals
  • Principals
  • Occasional teachers
  • Educational Resource Workers
  • Alternative and Continuing Education Teachers and Instructors

The services provided by the Teacher Personnel Department include:

  • Recruitment and selection of candidates to staff schools
  • Internal posting of vacant positions
  • External advertising of vacant positions
  • QECO category salary adjustment
  • Teaching/work related experience salary adjustments
  • Annual salary implementation as per Collective Agreements
  • Maintenance of employee records
