FOREIGN TRAINED CO-OP PROGRAM

Do you have a professional degree and experience from your home country?

Do you need Canadian work experience?

Do you want to work in your occupation in Canada?            

                    Start Dates -        Jan. 4 , Feb. 1, Mar. 1

Part 1: ( ESLC01 and GWL 30C) In class for 7 weeks.  Learn how to job search, write a resume, practice interviewing, research companies for your unpaid work placement and more!  This course will get you ready to succeed on your  work placement!  English must be your second language to join this program. 

 

Part 2: (ESL CO3 and GWL30C) 9 weeks unpaid work placement in a company that is in your field or occupation of choice!  Gain weeks of Canadian work experience, references, networking and a good  chance for paid work in your field!  The work placement allows you to get your foot in the door so you can show all the experience you have brought with you to Canada.

 

** Sector Specific Language Training and the TOEIC test are funded by the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration for the Province of Ontario
