1. FSL - Introduction to French as a Second Language
(Credit -(FSF 1P) - Beginners
Jan. 18 - April 21 5:45-9:30 pm ( 24 sessions)
This course emphasizes the development of oral communication skills, using the theme of media; the development of oral communication skills will be integrated with the development of reading and writing skills. Students will expand their ability to understand and speak French through conversations, discussions, and presentations. They will also read media-related short stories, articles, poems, and songs and write brief descriptions, letters, dialogues, and invitations.
2. FSL - Grade 10 applied French credit (FSF2P)- this course is a continuation to FSF1P and will be offered in September. It emphasizes the further development of oral communicaiton, reading, and writing skills using broad-based themes. Students will expand their knowledge of French by studyng a series of theme-related topics, such as rights and responsibilities, relationships with others and the working world. ( Intermediate level )

3. FSL - Français Plus
French as a Second Language
(Conversation Practice) - Non-Credit
This course stresses a lot on oral conversations and engages the students in lot of interactive activities

This is an a beginner French class where you will:
✔ Learn new vocabulary and grammar
✔ Practice pronunciation
✔ Improve conversational skills
✔ Listen for understanding
Many people find that learning with others in a group is a faster way to learn a new language. It keeps you on track and motivates you to practice more. It is also very important to practice the new language you learn in the class at least 15 – 30 minutes a day at home.
