Golfers raise $60,000 for summer youth programs

Two hundred and forty four golfers, played a six-hour round of golf in Monday’s blazing heat, raising $60,000 for Community Living Mississauga, a non-profit, charitable organization which provides support to over 1,600 individuals who have an intellectual disability and their families.

Dufferin-Peel students/schools continue improved literacy test results

Results from the March 2008 administration of the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) indicate improvement, with a 1 percent increase in the number of Dufferin-Peel students who passed the test from the previous administration in March 2007.
