Dufferin-Peel Trustees and local MPPs meet for discussion of education issues - Oct. 1/08
On October 1, Dufferin-Peel trustees met with local MPPs to discuss education-related issues. Due to scheduling conflicts, the annual meeting was attended by only three of the seven local Members of Provincial Parliament Linda Jeffrey (Brampton Springdale), Amrit Mangat (Mississauga Brampton South) and Charles Sousa (Mississauga South).
Trustees presented a briefing document for discussion that covered a range of issues of importance to the board and the Dufferin-Peel community. The document has been sent to all MPPs in the Dufferin-Peel jurisdiction as well as the Minister of Education. October 1 Briefing Document (pdf)
