Chess Team

Congratulations to the CTK Chess team who played in their Family of schools Chess tournament on Tuesday, April 28th.  The three teams played with excellent thinking skills throughout the whole tournament with the Primary Team finishing 1st overall and their outstanding performance has allowed them to advance to the Board Tournament to be held on May 6.

Congratulations to the Primary Chess Team who went to the Board Chess Championships on Wednesday, May 6.  The team played a great round robin and ended up in the play-off round in the afternoon.  Thank you to Mr. Storey for driving and supervising the team members that day.  Thank you to the chess team members who represented our school with excellent behaviour and thinking skills!
