CROSS COUNTRY
Our Cross Country team has completed another great season.
28 runners represented Christ the King at the Family Meet on October 21st at Erindale Park. 8 of our runners placed in the first 15 in their division:
Grade 4/5 Boys: Quintin H. (1st) Sean M. (2nd), Kevin K. (8th)
Grade 6 Boys: Anthony M. (5th), Jonathan M. (7th)
Grade 7 Girls: Amberly H. (9th), Aleisha R. (12th)
Grade 7 Boys: Justin L. (12th)
Our Grade 6 Boy’s team of Anthony M., Kelly O., Jonathan M., Daniel D. and Enoch A. was the top scoring team in their division.
These 11 students will go on to represent us at the Board Meet on October 28th at Heart Lake.
The team performed well despite tough opposition and wet weather.
Mr. Masson, Miss Gizzi and Mrs. Yee are very proud of all our runners for their hard work, team spirit and excellent behaviour.
