Diversity at Father Sullivan

Our country of Canada is made up of many people from many different countries around the world.  Our student population and their families are also made up of people from around the world.

We asked each family to complete a survey about the countries they have connections to.  We received replies from about half of our student population.

Mrs. Scott's grade 3 students then tallied the data from the surveys and then transferred that information to the graphs on display in our main hallway.  We grouped the countries by continent.  Mrs. McCarthy's grade 7 class also contributed to the project by creating the flags of each country represented at our school.

We would like to thank Mapart Canada for graciously donating the large World Map used in this project.
