As a result of one of our students being admitted to the Hospital for Sick Children with a brain tumor, three grade five students wanted to do something special. After a great deal of discussion and brainstorming, they developed the Ultimate Teacher Challenge. Four teachers volunteered to participate in a series of challenges, i.e.: dodgeball, skipping, making students laugh, acting like the principal, etc. Each student who wanted to observe the challenges donated a toonie.  We at Father C. W. Sullivan School in Brampton, raised a total of $316.00 for the Hospital for Sick Children. We are very proud of our teachers and students, especially the three students who organized the event: Zachary, Talon, and Melissa.

One of our student's grandmother was so proud of her grand-daughter, she told her colleagues at work about what the students had done. They were so impressed, they wanted to do something as well. The Office Source Inc., 4800 Eastgate Parkway, Mississauga, is going to match our $316.00 donation. Thanks to their generosity, we will be writing a cheque for $732.00 to the Hospital for Sick Children.
