Toon Boom Studio is a tool which students use to design and create animation movies to present. Students learn to use the tools in the software application to apply a combination of scaling, rotating and skewing. They create storyboards prior to designing with the TBS software. The learn to add text as well as syncing voice and sound to their movies. Students practice designing key frames to express their challenge and ideas. Layering images and scenes is an important part of the animation process. Importing images and sound is also a skill the students work on. The final presentations include oral presentation, the movie they created that is transferred to Quicktime.
