Primary / Junior School Choir

The Primary/Junior Choir has begun. They meet on Wednesdays at noon and have recently been rehearsing on Thursdays also. They are presently preparing themselves for and Advent Mass on December 20, 2005. They are preparing three new pieces of music and several from last year.

Although a number of new students have joined the choir, Mrs. Perkauskas is accepting new registrations. Songbooks are provided at the rehearsals. When a piece of music is introduced a copy is sent home with students to practice.

Senior Choir

The Senior Choir is comprised of interested students from Grades 6, 7 and 8. It is open to all students in these grades and is not an auditioned choir. The Choir meets during lunch hour for forty minutes once a week, with extra rehearsals scheduled throughout the school year in preparation for special events.

The Choir's first event will be participating in the Mississauga & Peel Elementary School Choirs Festival on November 30, 2005. This Festival will be held at the Sheridan Centre [2225 Erin Mills Parkway, Mississauga]. Their performance time is 12:45 p.m.. The Festival provides students with the opportunity to perform outside of the classroom / school. It fosters the enjoyment of music for all.
