Medications for Students                  

At times, the school is asked to store and/or give medication to students. The following excerpt is taken from the policy [502.8] re: request for the storage and distribution of medication:

Notice for Parents

  • a completed form must accompany the medication to be stored. It is the prerogative of the Principal to decide whether or not medication  will be stored or given out at school.
  • all medication must be stored in the office in a secure area
  • it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to monitor the quantity stored by the school.
