Message from our School Advisory Council:
St. Dunstan has a vibrant and active School Advisory Council (SAC). It consists of 12 parents, 1 teaching rep, 1 non-teaching rep and the principal. SAC holds on average 5 general meetings each school year which are open to all parents and items either predetermined by council or submitted by parents are discussed. SAC is responsible for many things in the school such as pizza/hot lunch days, sacramental lunches for students, bake sales, yearbook, charity projects, family days, fundraising – to name a few. SAC’s mission is to make St. Dunstan a place the children can look back on for a lifetime with great memories. The mission is not difficult because although SAC may consist of only 12 voting members, there is an entire community of parents standing beside it to make the mission a reality.
