Father Michael McGivney School opened in September of 2004. Students from three area schools as well as those new to the community made up the population in the first year.
Our students can trace their roots back to more than 30 countries. This produces the rich diversity enjoyed by our community and allows for many opportunities to acknowledge and celebrate a variety of events.
Father Michael McGivney School is home to a Moderate/Severe needs class, which is made up of students from other schools in our family of schools as well as other families of schools.
In addition, housed at our school is the New Start programme, operated in conjunction with the Continuing Education Department and Peel Children’s Centre. Services in this day treatment facility are provided for students throughout the Region of Peel as well as some students from Dufferin County.
