Scientists of Tomorrow!
Calling all future Einstein's! Newton's! and Curie's!
The official Gonzaga Science Club is here to stay! The addictive, fun-filled learning experience of science has brought students together from all corners of Gonzaga in order to take part in exhilarating and mind-boggling experiments that explore the uniqueness of science. Under the expertise and supervision of chemistry teacher Mr.Corvinelli, the science club is dedicated towards helping Gonzaga' s future scientists further explore science to a higher advancement through exciting experiments and applications.
But now, you may be asking yourselves, what exactly does the Science Club do that I don't already do in my science classes? If you have desired to make ice cream to satisfy your cravings on a hot day, or needed the perfect moisturizing soap during the cold seasons, then the Science Club is for you! Mad experiments like dissections and explosions are only fractions of what goes on deep in the heart of the Science office. It is the perfect chance to do the things you always wished you could do during a lab, with the proper instructions, amazing results and exceptional learning opportunities.
The club meets after school on every other Wednesday and all new members are welcome! Remember to listen for the announcements! The 2006-2007 Gonzaga Science Club, exploring science and technology, has opened a window of opportunity for students to express their interest in science and to hopefully one day become famous scientists themselves.
In the words of the great Albert Einstein, "Bear in mind that the wonderful things you learn in your schools are the work of many generations. All this is put in your hands as your inheritance in order that you may receive it, honour it, add to it, and one day faithfully hand it on to your children." So whip on those goggles and bring your lab coat, because the Science Club may just be speeding you way at a constant acceleration!
