Available 24-7 from home or school through Knowledge Ontario’s online resources from Gale Cengage Learning or the Mississauga Library System.

Using the Gale Virtual Reference Library

1. Click on the links above to access the Gale Virtual Reference Library from home or school. 
2. Enter the password (available from your Teacher-Librarian) or your 14-digit Library number if you are on the Mississauga Library site.
3. Scroll down the list and click on Gale Virtual Reference Library -   eBook logo.
4. Click on "Show all" or the subject area that interests you.

How to search the entire eBook library by research topics

1. Select "Basic Search"
2. Type in a keyword and click on "Search"
3. You will get results from a variety of books that address your topic
4. Select "Publication Title" from the pull-down menu on the left-hand sidebar to view articles related to your search
5. Click on the title to see the articles.

How to search individual eBooks

1. Beneath "Basic Search" see a list of subject areas
2. Click on the most likely subject area
3. Click the title you want to review
4. From here you can select Table of Contents or Index to make a more specific selection.
