Using the Gale Virtual Reference Library
- Click on the links above to access the Gale Virtual Reference Library from home or school.
- Enter the password (available from your Teacher-Librarian) or your 14-digit Library number if you are on the Mississauga Library site.
- Scroll down the list and click on Gale Virtual Reference Library -
eBook logo.
- Click on "Show all" or the subject area that interests you.
How to search the entire eBook library by research topics
- Select "Basic Search"
- Type in a keyword and click on "Search"
- You will get results from a variety of books that address your topic
- Select "Publication Title" from the pull-down menu on the left-hand sidebar to view articles related to your search
- Click on the title to see the articles.
How to search individual eBooks
- Beneath "Basic Search" see a list of subject areas
- Click on the most likely subject area
- Click the title you want to review
- From here you can select Table of Contents or Index to make a more specific selection.
