The Guidance and Career Education Department at HNM strives to meet the goals set out by Choices Into Action, the Ministry’s document that outlines Guidance and Career Education program policy.  It is stated in the document:  These GOALS of the Guidance and Career Education program are stated as:

• understand the concepts related to lifelong learning, interpersonal relationships and career planning.
• develop learning skills, social skills, a sense of social responsibility, and the ability to formulate and pursue educational  and career goals.
• apply this learning to their lives and work in the school and in the community.
