Mission Statement

We, God's people, staff of Sts. Martha and Mary Cathoilic School strive daily to meet all aspects of our vocation, i.e. to teach and learn from each other and our students.  We believe that literacy and numeracy are fundamental life skills.  We endeavour to teach these essential processes in our classrooms.

About Our School

Sts. Martha and Mary Catholic School is located in the Glenforest Community of Mississauga. The school was built in 1976 and has had a major renovation in 2003-2004 during which time the staff and students were housed in a holding school in Brampton. Returning to the newly renovated home, the school welcomed 475 students at the Bough Beeches site in September, 2004. This school year, 2006-2007, Sts. Martha and Mary is home to 459 students and 42 staff, of diverse and social backgrounds.

Our School Motto is "Striving for Excellence", which reflects our commitment to high academic standards. Gospel values, teachings and beliefs are infused in the daily life of our school. We pride ourselves in our academic achievements and excellent performance in the Provincial Assessments, but especially in the Christ-centred education that we offer our students.
