      EBSCO Student Research Center  - a comprehensive up-to-date database that contains magazines and newspaper articles, books, encyclopedias, biographies, country reports, primary source documents, photos, maps, film, video and much more.

 

 Encyclopædia Britannica Online School Edition   
Britannica Online - access to reference articles, journals and magazines, the web's best sites, multimedia and curriculum content for elementary, middle and high schools.


 

Thomson Gale Databases - access to full-text magazines, newspapers, scholarly journals, news and reference books covering variety of subjects such as arts, literature, science, health, government, history, technology, business, sports and much more.

 

        Statistics Canada - provides an overview of statistical information on Canada’s people, economy and governments.

 

    Career Cruising - an online career database which explores many different career options, education and training. 

 

        Grolier -  includes seven encyclopedia databases: Encyclopedia America, Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia, The New Book of Knowledge, La Nueva Enciclopedia Cumbre, America the Beautiful, Lands and Peoples, and The New Book of Popular Science.

 Cultural Profiles Project                 Cultural Profiles - each culture provides an overview of life and customs in the profiled country.

  Science Direct - offers more than a quarter of the world's scientific, medical and technical information online.  It includes over 2,000 peer-viewed journals, hundreds of book series, handbooks and reference works.
